I went to Evgeny Kissin’s concert and the first piece he played was Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet. I think it’s something that you either love or hate no middle ground. It’s quite beautiful, haunting and eerie at the same time. I searched for the piano interpretation when I got home but failed to find something nice. However there’s an orchestral version on youtube conducted by Claudio Abbado that I like (starting from 1:34).
