My mug was broken (by someone) few months ago, and yet I haven’t been able to find a replacement that I liked. Finally one day as I walked by a small shop, I saw it sitting on the top shelf and it made my day. Perfect size, shape, color and material. Actually I bought some nice cushions at the shop before but never thought of going back there to look for mugs.

Mission of the week: Cake experiment. Still going through page after page looking for delicious christmas recipes. I wonder which flour/brand is the best for baking cakes.
Recent happy smell: Voluspa mini Minaret Candle – Mirabelle
Normally I am not a fan of sweet smell, but this mirabelle candle’s got magic in it. The tiny 2oz ceramic pot is way too cute. “The tart fragrance of prized mirabelle plums grown on the fertile regions of Lorraine, France. Notes of green leaf, pear, tuberose, and freesia are expertly harmonized to reveal this plum’s inner secrets.” So that strong sweet smell is derived from plums!! The smell is anything but subtle. It doesn’t smell like plum to me, but a combination of floral, sweet, unique, happy fragrances joyously married together, making it the perfect little gift for christmas! I am keeping mine to light up for special moments. For now I just open it from time to time to sniff at the sweet smell hahahaha.
An update on my little gardening experiment. I’ve been keeping a close look on the seeds and they are growing everyday. It’s great to wake up everyday with anticipation wondering what they’ll be like. Some of the seeds aren’t growing though, and hopefully will pop out in the next couple days.
I use all sorts of herbs for cooking and thought it’d be nice to grow my own. Bought some seeds last year but never planted them until today. I browsed through couple books on gardening before planting the seeds. The books said there should be some space between each seed but I just sprinkled them all over haha. Must remember to check on them tomorrow.

2 nerds came to my place just to mess with my brand new Gocco. They ended up wasting 2 sets of bulbs and screens!! *cries*
I was about to take a bath when M came in and asked if he could test out something in the tub first. Our gadget boy needed to test drive his new toy. What’s that yellow remote control for?!
It’s the tiny submarine we bought in MK!! Super cute and cool!! Sometimes I find joy from little things in life such as playing remote control tiny submarine at 12am in the bathroom with M.

With my due date coming up in less than a month, I finally pushed myself to pack a bag for the hospital. Need to bring a bunch of stuff that might seem weird to people who don’t have such experience. Weird checklist includes net panties, maternity pads, breast pads etc. I really hope the baby will come out soon because a good night sleep is impossible with his constant kicking.

Today I went to Elements with Joop for lunch and some shopping. Normally I prefer to shop alone but Joop’s an exception. It’s always fun to shop with her especially when I manage to point her to the right direction…”Joop check this out!!” *showing her things that she would have missed if she shopped alone muhahahaha*.
Before our casual shopping began, we had lunch at a Shanghainese restaurant. I brought my 400D and Joop took a picture of me which turned out stupid looking as usual. Why do I ALWAYS look stupid when she’s the one taking pictures?! Here’s the prove:
We walked by a shop called “Cocktail” and since I’ve never checked out this store we decided to give it a go, and glad we did because we found something super cool!! First I spotted some super cute animal mask necklaces by Sabrina Dehoff and they were 50% off. Then suddenly Joop became so excited and told me to check out some chic earrings by comfort station. If you wanna see the earrings she got check out Joop’s blog I am pretty sure she’d post pictures of them hahahhaha.

Here’s the cat mask necklace I got by Sabrina Dehoff. The leather cat mask is fluffy and cute. It reminds me of my black cats ^^.
To finish off our productive trip at Elements, we went to Three sixty for some healthy food. A lady at the bread section lured us over by offering us sample of their organic walnut bread. Joop took and a bite and grabbed one immediately!!
I wanted to make grilled pork chop with shallot so we went over to the meat section for some organic pork. I bought 4 pieces and M ate 3 of them at dinner!! You may all worship my cooking skill!!
I had to take a picture of these bottles when I saw them. Why? Because Fiji and Panna are my favourite water and they happened to sit side by side. Today I picked Panna…sorry Fiji I’ll give you some love next time.
I almost forgot to mention these socks we got at H&M. Hello kitty socks at H&M?! That’s right!! I don’t have anything hello kitty at home but these socks are quite nice plus they are super cheap I could just wear them at home.

Good to see you again EV. A week in Hawaii and came back without a tan? How this girl never gets tanned remains a mystery.
I eat lot of fruits and this is the place I go to weekly for restocking. They have a great variety and the quality is impressive, not to mention the reasonable price. They also do phone delivery for free!! Today I bought some green plums, giant juicy peaches, cherries, blueberries and watermelon. Didn’t I tell you I love fruit? =D

Initially Kiko was placed on my laps on the way to the airport. Then she started whining like crazy struggling to get away, and it’s never happpend before according to joop. I thought maybe she wanted to be with joop, so I put her on joop’s laps and she immediately became calm. Kiko is definitely loving her slave. hahahaha.
Joop has been babysitting a 2 month old shiba puppy named Kiko, and man did she turn into an exhausted mom LOL.

And why did I visit her? To bring her from hell to heaven…by taking her to Sevva for afternoon tea. An exhausted mom deserves to be treated like a princess sometimes hahahahhaha.
I went to Shanghai for a few days with M. It was soooo damn hot over there 40C+ degree!!! We went to an area with a bunch of galleries, and while walking M had to drink water constantly.

Back to Hong Kong and went to a pet store called Whiskers and Paws with my friend Elaine. It was adoption day and a few puppies from Hong Kong dog rescue were available for adoption. Elaine wanted to check out the puppies and here’s one of them. This black puppy’s so cute. I heard she was adopted that day after we left. If you are thinking about getting a dog please consider adoption. There’s adoption day at Whiskers and Paws at the Horizon Plaza every weekend.
Finally decided to part with my iphone. I bought the Ericsson C902 which has the functions I need.
