No more rain at last!! The weather’s soooo nice and hot it makes me happy. Recently I’ve been having lots of fun.

Ever since M and I moved to the new place our doggies have been getting way too much exercise walking up and down the stairs. The result:

Here’s my new toy thanks to Joop the camera junkie. This low tech pink vista quest is stupid but cool. 3M mega pixels which is less than the camera of your average mobile phone hahaha. Maybe just maybe I am attracted to pink round thing.

This vista quest produces pictures similar to an overpriced lomo camera. Here’s a test pic taken at shakey’s. When I showed M the pic and said “check this out it looks like a lomo pic”, he responded “that’s becoz they  all have shitty lens”. Not surprised coming from M the high-end gadget boy.

Picture taken at chau chau’s wedding when I was about 5.5 months pregnant. ^^

Joop loves to hang out at my new place and plays cooking mama. She actually made something yummy this time. *shocks*

Joop and I at her place when I was about…hmm….4-5 months pregnant.

We went to petworld with our dogs for some fun. Petworld is a place for dogs to run around, swim, and socialize with other dogs. We went on a weekday so there were only a few dogs but cody and bubble enjoyed it nonetheless as long as they were allowed to go wild.

First time bubble in a life jacket…soooooo cute sea monkey!!

Cody wanted to rescue the piggie but he’s not keen to dive in. He kept running around the pool not knowing what to do ahhaha.

Finally…

He was able to rescue piggie the plastic ball. Good job cody!

Here’s my lovely eggs benedict just to make you all drool muhahahhah!!!!

I made French toast for breakfast and it tasted so good. It’s important to buy good quality bread and maple syrup.

Ingredients (for 8 slices):

8 slices French bread about 2cm thick

1.5 cup whole milk

4 large eggs

1 Tbs vanilla extract

1 Tbs Grand Marnier

1/4 cup sugar

1 Tsp orange zest

1/4 Tsp grated nutmeg

1/8 Tsp sea salt

2 Tbs unsalted butter

Icing sugar for dusting

Maple syrup (get the best one you can find)

Mix together milk, eggs, vanilla extract, Grand Marnier, sugar, orange zest, nutmeg and salt. Pour over bread and leave it for one minute. Do the other side. Cover dish with plastic wrap for 10-30 minutes.

In a medium heat frying pan, melt 1 Tbs of butter, add bread and cook for 2-3 minutes. Turn it over for another 2-3 minutes until the bread is golden brown. You can keep it warm in a 95C/200F oven while doing the rest.

Transfer toasts to plate and dust with icing sugar. Serve with maple syrup. Enjoy!

Moved to new place couple weeks ago so I’ve been busy unpacking and stuff. Will update my blog soon. ^^

With the new kitchen I’ve suddenly turned into a pastry chef haha.  Next thing I wanna make is Crêpe Suzette.  I even bought a tiny bottle of Grand Marnier for it.  Some of my favorite desserts are Warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, Chocolate pavlova, Champagne Jelly with strawberries, Black forest cake, Crêpe Suzette, Mango ice cream with berries.
