Just a few things/designers I like this seasons. First surprise, Givenchy. Turned out it’s my very fav. this season. Fresh, young, urban and dark. It’s nothing like the old Givenchy. I especially love the gladiator boots. Where can I get them?! Junya Watanabe. Again I can’t believe it…but when I looked at Watanabe’s clothes this season it made me happy. I love the colors, the lightness and the clothes just send out a very optimistic vibe. His take on the Chanel jacket is humorous. Love it. Second runner up is Balmain. Christophe Decarnin read my mind!! His clothes are in sync with the nouveau boho trend, hippie in a sophisticated way. Love the color palette.

Today I felt like cooking and made yummy Shanghai rice cake. It’s actually very easy to make but you need strong arm muscles to keep stirring the stuff in the wok so they won’t burn. @@

Today I went to Harbor City for some Jean-Paul Hévin chocolates. I am not a chocolate addict but I do appreciate fine dark chocolate. Jean-Paul Hévin is probably my very top favorite so far. Each combination is unique in its own way with interesting flavors. I find their chocolates very robust and complex; you can tell the chocolate maker puts a lot of thought in designing the flavors and combinations.
